no club

No Club is a black-owned food project dedicated to liberating Black and Brown bodies through community nourishment.

Food is life and culture. But often the best ingredients and products are only attainable through wealth and influence. Due to institutionalised racism in America, White people have disproportionate access to these kinds of experiences around the table. No Club is working to create change by making life-giving food connections available to everyone, especially those in minority groups.

I worked with No Club to create this illustration promoting the launch of their Bodega and Pizza projects. The illustration depicts the confidence to throw fine ingredients and menu items to the ground, symbolising the disruption of an unfair system so that everyone can eat.
